Once a figure of status and refinement, The Frayed Lord now walks the halls of the Halloween Ball as a ghost of his former grandeur. Clad in a once-opulent velvet coat, now faded and worn, he raises his glass in defiance, not celebration. His sharp gaze dares others to pity him, but behind his glower and weary posture, there lies the weight of lost wealth, squandered opportunity, and a desperate hunger to reclaim what was once his.

Though the aristocracy barely tolerates his presence, he remains relevant solely due to his enigmatic uncle, The Sightless Seer—a blind prophet whose cryptic visions command both respect and unease. Many whisper that his proximity to the Seer is his last remaining asset, his final shield against complete irrelevance. But The Frayed Lord is not yet defeated—he watches, waits, and schemes, searching for the moment to restore his family name or at the very least, drag others down with him.
